As the transfer season nears or perhaps gets underway

We may have talent that we have invested in

Come back to Arsenal from a season out in Europe

Good luck on those who will do the same as them

That is go and gain first team experience in various clubs around the world

With this fine balance we may have some player resources available to be selected to join the Gooners as they go out onto another season under Unai Emery

We are expecting better results and to do so

The squad may need some beefing up in defense, midfield, and strikers

As the fans we are grateful for such a great club family

That has really stood the test of time

And competitively notched up performance

And pizazz on the football field

Thank you

And the future requires whatever the club deems

Necessary in rest, preparation and planning

And so from this point onwards we leave it up to them

A well deserved rest awaits us

The boys have done well

Congratulations to the coach for a fine first season

Arsenal has luck on their side

And with that in mind have found consistency

The beginning carried with it a bit of getting used to

But we were meant for a fifth place finish

Why? You can sort of place a team by the way they start a season

That invites a need to relook at the game against Chelsea right before the season

And maybe we would guage whether we are cup winners this season

In one way or another we’ve worked for it

And let’s see whether it comes

Defensive Strategy

I’ve seen very few teams in the premiership

With a strong enough defense that they find it feasible to start their build up from the back

Arsenal’s strength is in midfield, yet other teams can have a greater and better attacking play with focus on their final third only (their striking force)

This too is great but let’s start from the back to win it all

It’s not surprising that the first two runners (Man City and Liverpool) are the best defensively

Well they may have worked hard to strengthen their defenses, despite an average midfield or striking team at first

That is the starting point, however

Having a good midfield pack is good, if you can quickly find the ball to them

Or a pretty neat arrangement of forwards, needs the same, passing the ball right to them before anything else, even if lofted

You’ll find that you’ll be more lucky if you play to your strength
